Are they falling, or are they running? All I know is that their goal involves.....FOOD.

Pardon their maniacal grins. (I was trying to draw something more cheerful, but...eheh. You see how it turns out.) Pardon also the unlikely poses, crazy proportions, and attempted foreshortening. Sometimes I like to push for things that I don't really have the technical know-how to do yet. The actual character colouring could do with some more polishing, particularly on the trim of Nataku's robe - perhaps I'll come back to it later.

The kanji (from right to left) reads Satsujin Ningyou Nataku Taishi, Seiten Taisei Son Goku, and Saiyuki Gaiden. (It was so hard finding kanji for Nataku - and it ended up being in a different font, so I had to modify it when I cleaned up, and my pathetic attempts of weighting look really bad next to the others ...) The text in English behind is the summary of Saiyuki that appears frequently throughout the artbook, and misc. merchandise.

Aaah, two of the cutest characters ever, and the ones that got me hooked on Saiyuki. I had to draw some fanart of them!
